It is the more sportier version of Audi A3 introduced in 1999 and currently in its third generation. First generation S3 was available only in 3 door hatchback body style and were equipped with 1,8l 20V engine, that could produce either 154kw or 165kw, depending on model years. Second generation S3 was offered in three and five-door body styles and featured 2,0l turbocharged engine that produced 195kw. Third generation S3  is powered by a 2.0-litre TFSI engine that is able to produce 221kw. Audi S3 is equipped with permanent all-wheel drive system (quattro).
