Medium sized luxury car that was manufactured  from 1996 until 2012 by Acura. RL model was created as a successor of Acura Legend. First generation cars were produced from 1995 until 2004. It was based on a third generation Legend and had a 3.5 L V6 C35A engine, the same as it was in Legend. Second generation was manufactured in 2005 – 2012. Main features of this generation was "Super Handling-All Wheel Drive" (SH-AWD) system and a powerful V8 engine. In 2011 facelift model was released with a automatic transmission, parking sensors, power folding mirrors, new exterior with a new variety of colors.
