It is a compact executive car that was manufactured from 1985 until 1992 as a replacement for Alfa Romeo Giuletta.  The car at the time had some unusual technical characteristics because it was perfectly balanced from front to rear by the help of transaxle schema (gearbox was built-in in the rear and connected to the rear differential), the model was also known for its diagnostic device that was mounted in the dashboard. Alfa Romeo 75 had four cylinder 1.6, 1.8 and 2.0 L petrol engines, 2.0 L turbodiesel, 2.5 L fuel injected V6 and 3.0 L V6.
