Riviera (translating from Latin it means coastline) is a Buick personal luxury car that was produced between 1963 and 1993 and with a break of 2 years between productions, between 1995 and 1999.  Car is a Buicks‘s first trying to enter niche of personal luxury cars. Over three decades of production about 1.1 million units of Riviera were produced. First generation was manufactured from 1963 to 1965, second one was produced between 1966 and 1970, third from 1971 to 1973, fourth since 1974 until 1976, fifth generation was produced from 1977 to 1978, sixth generation between 1979 and 1985, seventh from 1986 to 1993, eighth generation was manufactured from 1995 to 1999. There were few concept cars released (in 2007 and 2013).
